Everyone is welcome at Mt. Pleasant. It is our sincerest desire that all people come into a saving knowledge of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, and experience daily the power of His eternal love. A believer can increasingly grow into an intimate, vital relationship with Christ as they become more grounded in God’s Word.
Face masks are optional during Sunday worship at 8 and 10:30 am.
We offer in-person worship services on Sundays at 8 and 10:30 am and online worship service on Youtube and Facebook at 10:30 am.
Each Wednesday is about community and connection while we study God’s Word. Adult Bible Study is offered at noon and 7 pm. And Youth Bible Study is offered at 7 pm.
There are two entrances to the parking lots. One is located on the south side of W 62nd St and the other is located on Hollingsworth Road, east of the East Lot. Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the start of service to ensure you’re able to select your recommended parking.
Upon entering the church parking lot, handicap spots are located at the W 62nd entrance and in the South parking lot. Reserved parking spaces are also available in the South parking lot as well.
We offer shuttle service on Sundays at 10:30 am before and after Sunday worship. Pickup can be reserved with the church by leaving a voicemail with your name, number, and address before Friday, the end of business day. Please call (317) 291-6655.
The south parking lot is where the foyer entrance of the church is located. Once you enter the foyer, you’ll find friendly greeters to assist you with directions to the sanctuary and restrooms.
An usher will help you find a seat. Communion, prayer, praise and worship, giving, and biblical teaching are key components of our worship service each week. You will experience dynamic praise and worship of contemporary and traditional gospel music. And our Senior Pastor, Dr. Michael S. Johnson, delivers a powerful, transformative, and challenging Word from the Lord. Sunday morning services are one hour and 15 minutes for 8 am and one hour and 30 minutes for 10:30 am. Adult and Youth Sunday School is offered between services at 915 am.
Our attire is Christian casual, but you are welcome to dress up any time you’d like! We also encourage you to bring your friends, family, and invite others into a memorable time of worship and fellowship!
Our Youth Ministry will help the youth grow their relationship with God and others. They will be assisted in finding God’s purpose for their lives and will be empowered to live Christ-like lives whatever their vocation may be.
