The Audio and Video Ministry handles all recordings and performs special services and events, keeps an organized library of recordings, provides duplicate recordings, and adjusts and maintains the sound system as needed and in conjunction with the Worship & Arts Pastor.
The Audio/Video Ministry servant has a passion for recording services, photography, videography, and relay encouragement through messaging, promoting good communication.
Role and Responsibilities
- Arrive prior to worship services to double-check and set up equipment as needed: microphones, monitors, etc.
- Operate sound equipment during all services and special events held in church sanctuary/fellowship hall.
- Maintain equipment and report repairs under the direction of the ministry leader.
- As designated by the ministry leader, maintain an annual budget.
- Operate lighting, camera, and recordings of services and special events.
- Ensure audio recording is connected for 8am service.
- Confirm all visuals (sermon texts, songs, announcements, etc.) are secured and in place for Sunday service.
- Take photos of special services and church events.
- Maintain a library of recordings and photos.
- Attend AV ministry meetings as designated.
Qualifications/Skills and Requirements
- Background in audio and video is helpful, but not required.
