As a part of the Women’s Ministries and Mount Pleasant, the purpose of the Sisterhood Ministry is to create unity, bonding, and growth spiritually in the ways of Christ. The sisters of the ministry are committed to praying in God’s will, offering intercessory prayer, being available to support the needs of our church, minister to the church family as required, and work diligently and faithfully in their efforts.
The Sisterhood Ministry member has a passion for fellowship, ministry between women, unity, serving, and supporting the holistic wellbeing of women.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist with and plan activities for the ministry (individually and/or collectively)
- Work with ministry coordinators to coordinate activities and special events.
- As a ministry leader, plan and oversee special events and activities for the respective ministry.
- Facilitate scheduled ministry meetings as designated by respective ministry and leader(s).
- If designated as a leader, oversee budget and expenditures for the respective ministry.
- Occasional errands to be run various service/event needs.
- Participate in community outreach as designated by the respective ministry (individually &/or collectively).
Qualifications/Skills and Requirements
- Willingness to serve, learn, and fellowship.
- Serving, Organizational Skills, Administration, Exhortation, Mercy-Showing
